YOUR PROPERTY. YOUR KASI. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR TOWNSHIP RENTAL PLATFORM. BY ACCESSING JOINERKASI, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE COMMUNITY STANDARDS AND TERMS.
JoinerKasi Vision & Purpose
JoinerKasi is a community-focused township rental platform built to connect local landlords with tenants in South Africa. Our vision is to make it easier for residents to find affordable rental homes (flats, backyard units, and rooms under R5,000/month) without relying exclusively on informal social media feeds.
Section 1 - Platform Scope & Pricing Focus
JoinerKasi operates as a specialized township rental directory and connecting tool—not a general commercial real estate brokerage. Listings on JoinerKasi prioritize affordable residential accommodation (flats, rooms, and backyard units) priced at or under R5,000 per month.
Section 2 - Landlord Obligations & Accuracy
Landlords listing properties on JoinerKasi guarantee that all property details, pricing, photographs, location descriptions, and viewing availability are accurate and truthful. Landlords are responsible for managing active listings and updating property status when rented.
Section 3 - Tenant Viewings & Direct Communication
Tenants agree to provide valid contact details when submitting viewing booking requests. JoinerKasi facilitates connection between landlords and tenants but is not a party to lease agreements or rental payments entered into between property owners and tenants.
Section 4 - Subscriptions & PayFast Transactions
Subscription tier renewals (Joiner Kasi, Plus, Premium, and Red tiers) are processed via secured third-party payment gateways (PayFast). Plan features, ADT/DGS security badges, and listing placements are subject to active, up-to-date subscription status.
Section 5 - Limitation of Liability
JoinerKasi acts as a digital bridge between community members. While we endeavor to verify information, JoinerKasi shall not be liable for direct or indirect damages, property disputes, or contractual disagreements arising between independent landlords and prospective tenants.
Section 6 - Governing Law
These Terms of Service and all platform services provided by JoinerKasi shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
